Additional Ways to Support WSLB
Support WSLB by Creating Your own Facebook Fundraiser.
Facebook’s brand new fundraising tools allow you to support WomenShelter of Long Beach by creating your own personalized fundraiser campaign. Share your story, tell others about our mission and spread the word through Facebook, Messenger, Live Video and email. Friends can donate without ever having to leave Facebook.
- Visit WSLB’s Facebook at www.facebook.com/womenshelterlb
- Under the "Fundraisers" section, select the "Raise Money" link on the right side.
- When prompted, verify “WomenShelter of Long Beach” is listed under "Fundraiser for."
- Enter your Fundraiser’s goal amount and the date your fundraiser should end.
- The "What's the title of your fundraiser?" and "Why are you raising money?" sections allow you to customize your fundraiser. Facebook provides default information if you would prefer not to customize. Click
- "Cover photo" allows you to select a cover photo from WSLB’s recent Facebook pictures. You can also upload your own photo by clicking the "Upload new photo" option.
- Click "Create" to publish your Fundraiser
- Facebook will help you get the word out by walking you through the options to invite friends to your Fundraiser and publishing a message on your newsfeed.
Support WSLB while you shop at Ralphs and Food 4 Less!
By connecting your rewards card to their Community Rewards programs, Ralphs and Food 4 Less will donate a percentage of your total purchase to WSLB every time you shop for groceries.
Note: The program requires that shoppers login yearly to re-select their charity of choice.

By donating through Paypal Giving Fund you can ensure that 100% of your donation goes to WomenShelter of Long Beach, as Paypal will cover all related transaction costs.

Raise Money For WSLB with a GoFundMe page.
Thanks to a partnership with Paypal Giving Fund, you can now raise funds for WomenShelter of Long Beach through the crowdfunding site GoFundMe.
Create your own unique GoFundMe fundraising campaign for WomenShelter of Long Beach and share through social media to drive donations.
- Visit GoFundMe’s Charity Donation Page
- Search for and select WomenShelter of Long Beach
- When prompted, sign-up using your email address or Facebook account
- Enter a campaign goal amount, title, and verify WomenShelter of Long Beach is listed under “Funds to benefit:”
- Follow the additional prompts to customize and make the campaign your own.
- Start getting the word out by sharing your campaign through social media!
The donations you raise every month will be delivered to WomenShelter by the 25th of the following month.
Support WSLB while you shop and sell on eBay!
eBay for Charity has partnered with the PayPal Giving Fund to make it easy for eBay buyers and sellers to support WomenShelter of Long Beach. eBay sellers can donate a portion of their sales to benefit WSLB, and buyers can add donations at checkout. Special features help eBay for Charity items stand out, and eBay incentivizes charitable selling by crediting sales fees on charitable proceeds.
- While listing your item on ebay.com for sale, select the option to “Donate a portion to Charity”
- Under the Charity options, search for and select WomenShelter of Long Beach
- Select the percentage you would like to donate up to 100%
- 21 days after the items sale has completed and ships, PayPal Giving Fund will automatically collect the donation from your Paypal account.
