WomenShelter of Long Beach provides a selection of workshops, trainings, and presentations to the public. Our team is happy to tailor any of our educational programs to meet your company’s, school’s, or organization’s needs.

Programs and Trainings

Domestic Violence 101

Suitable for those ages 18 and above.

Domestic Violence is public health issue. WSLB staff is available to provide you with education regarding the complex nature of abuse, the challenges victims face, the link between domestic violence and homelessness, and other important awareness raising topics.

WSLB regularly provides training to individuals working in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors within the Long Beach area. Outreach staff engages individuals through interactive dialogue, team activities, and innovative workshops
