WSLB hosted our biggest Wellness Fair event to date!

Long Beach community support organizations joined WSLB at Long Beach’s MacArthur Park for a fun, free day focusing on wellness resources. From 10am-2pm, attendees could enter our fair free of charge with plenty of opportunities to come away with goodies. Our Marketplace Passport encouraged guests to get the most out of the event by having them check in at each vendor booth to learn more about the resources they provide, highlighting our sponsors: The Beacon House of San Pedro and LA Care. The Mera Dance Troupe captivated our audience with 3 beautiful dances representing cultural significance to our Cambodian community. There were several incredible prizes raffled off throughout the event, lunch was included at no cost, and lawn games and dance breaks kept people moving in the most fun ways possible. Over 200 people were present at the event
26 organizations tabled at the event
15 prize packages were raffled off, including board games, electronics, a punching bag, skateboards, and a bike!
