Gala 19 Recap

Thanks to the overwhelming support we received from our community, the 2019 WomenShelter of Long Beach Lead with Love to End Domestic Violence gala was a huge success!

This past year, WomenShelter has been leading with love throughout the community by providing supportive services to over 1,000 victims, by increasing prevention education and awareness at local schools and community events, and by working in partner with local agencies in effort to eliminate domestic violence. Breaking the cycle of violence is not a job for one, but rather a community effort. The attendance and support of over 300 individuals helped raise a groundbreaking number of funds that will help sustain WSLB’s emergency supportive housing facilities and our many victim-centered and prevention focused supportive services and programs. We appreciate the tremendous support we have received and look forward to seeing you next year!
